NEW ORLEANS - Cmdr. William Blair relieved Capt. Patrick Dill during a change of command ceremony June 15 for Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans. Blair earned his commission in 2001 and was designated a Naval Aviator in 2003. He was formerly the operations officer at CGAS Clearwater, Florida. CGAS New Orleans supports a range of operations. Its responsibility ranges from Apalachicola, Florida, to the Louisiana/Texas border, north to Memphis and into the Gulf of Mexico. (Source: Coast Guard 06/15/21)
