America has a reputation of being a melting pot of diversity that manifests itself across multiple demographics. Some places across the nation are notably more diversified than others. Stacker, a company that produces and distributes data journalism to the world’s news organizations, has compiled a list of the 50 most diverse counties in Mississippi using U.S. Census Bureau data. There are 82 counties in the Magnolia State, Counties are ranked by the highest Simpson’s diversity index score. Simpson’s diversity index measures community diversity on a scale of 0 (least diverse) to 1 (most diverse). So, you think you know your home state?
