WASHINGTON - The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Board of Directors appointed Dr. Felita Boldin to the position of Chief Learning Officer (CLO) and Director of Corporate University (CU). Dr. Boldin will start her new position with the FDIC on Sept. 11.
She most recently served as the Deputy Director of Training and Development (T&D) Mission Support Division with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Prior to her work with TSA, Dr. Boldin was an Instructor at Auburn University and an Officer Training Instructor and Contracting Officer with the Air Force.
Dr. Boldin holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Alabama; a Master of Arts in procurement and acquisitions and a Doctor of Philosophy in public policy and public administration from Auburn University.
