New super for schools in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss - The Starkville-Oktibbeha Consolidated School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to hire Tony McGee as its new superintendent. McGee is currently superintendent of the Scott County (Miss.) School District and served as superintendent at the Kosciusko School District. McGee, 55, earned undergraduate and doctorate in educational leadership degrees from Mississippi State University. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. The district will introduce McGee at a news conference at 5:30 p.m. on May 17 at the Greensboro Center.
