MS colleges share new DoE funds

Nineteen Mississippi colleges and universities are reported to have received almost $575M from the White House in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Education through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to colleges and universities across the nation. Mississippi already had been given $540M under prior coronavirus relief legislation. More than half the funds are designed to be used for financial aid to students.
