PASCAGOULA, Miss. - Huntington Ingalls Industries’ (HII) Ingalls Shipbuilding division delivered National Security Cutter Stone (WMSL 758) to the Coast Guard on Nov. 9. Documents signed on Monday marked the official transfer of custody of the ship to the Coast Guard. Stone is scheduled to sail away from the south Mississippi shipyard at the end of 2020 to its homeport in Charleston, S.C. “We could not be prouder to deliver our ninth national security cutter to the Coast Guard,” Ingalls Shipbuilding President Brian Cuccias said.
