Amazon is building a new fulfillment center in Madison County, Mississippi, that will create over 1,000 new jobs. The center was announced Nov. 12 by Gov. Tate Reeves and the Mississippi Development Authority. The new center is expected to be operational by 2021. Amazon also plans to fill the 1,000 jobs in time for the 2021 peak holiday shopping season.
