Tangipahoa flood risk study

NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' New Orleans District is scheduling two pre-scoping open houses to gather public input for the Tangipahoa Parish, La., 'Feasibility Study'. On Feb. 15, the site of the meeting will be at the Hammond (La.) Police Union Hall at 6 p.m. On Feb. 16, the site of the meeting will be at the First Baptist Church of Kentwood at 6 p.m. Both meetings will be streamed on the district’s Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/usacenola. The public is invited to provide input on the proposed study to identify and evaluate Flood Risk Management solutions in Tangipahoa Parish.
