Monday is Presidents Day. The federal holiday commemorates America's 45 commanders in chief (Grover Cleveland served two non-consecutive terms and is considered the 22nd and 24th President).
Most retail stores will be open, but many corporate offices and government agencies will not.
Presidents Day is a bank holiday at the Federal Reserve. Most banks will be closed. Notably, TD Bank will be open.
The Postal Service will be closed. There will be no deliveries of mail.
Non-essential government offices at the federal, state, county and city levels will be closed (DMV, libraries, courthouses and city halls. Federal and state courts will be closed. (WAPT 02/19/23)
