Retired Air Force 4-star general , who once headed the Air Education and Training Command (AETC), has joined the board of directors of (LHX), the company announced Feb. 24. LHX looks to leverage Rice’s 35-year military and national security background in developing products to address existing and future threats, according to a media release. Rice led command units in Japan, including U.S. Forces Japan and Pacific Air Forces, where he was vice commander. He also commanded the 13th Air Force, which was last headquartered in Hawaii.
