COLUMBUS, Miss. – The business of attracting business has been good in Mississippi's Golden Triangle region and now the agency that attracts business - the Golden Triangle Development LINK - is planning to expand and move its HQ to the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, according to CEO Joe Max Higgins.
“We made a commitment and said at some point in the future we need to relocate the offices to a central spot." he told WCBI.
The location will be beneficial for clients coming through the airport.
Plans are still on the drawing board for the building, but better accessibility and more elbow room are on the “must-have” list.
The building will be a single floor and around 8,000 square feet. The only measurable difference as far as space having "a big room where we can meet bigger groups,” said Higgins.
The building likely won't be fully finished until 2025. (WCBI 08/08/23)
