NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard medevac'd a crewmember from the offshore supply vessel Brandon Bordelon early May 18 about 11 miles SE of Southwest Pass, La.
The vessel contacted the CG that a 50-year-old male crewman had sustained a leg injury. The CG diverted a Venice, La.-based response boat and crew to assist.
The boatcrew embarked the crewman aboard and transported him to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at the Venice CG base.
EMS transported him to the Ochsner Medical Center Westbank Campus in Gretna, La. He was last reported in stable condition. (Coast Guard 05/18/23)
