JACKSON, Miss. - The Mississippi Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved rate hikes for Entergy and Mississippi Power, according to a report in The Yazoo Herald. The commission decided to accept written comments on the ruling until Feb. 1. A hearing will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 8. Entergy customers who use 1,000 kw/hours a month would see an increase of $7.81. Mississippi Power asked for a hike of $3.86 per month for 1,000 kw/hours used. The rate hikes will be subject to a review every 90 days by the PSC. (Source: WJTV 01/19/22)
