Nurses, teachers top ethics list

The latest results of Gallup’s 'Honesty and Ethics' survey, taken between Dec. 1-17, in which Americans were asked to rate 15 occupational groups saw nurses topping Gallup's list in all but one year since 1999. After nurses and doctors, grade-school teachers are the next-highest-rated profession with a 75%. Members of Congress and car salespeople tied for last with 8%. Advertising practitioners were at 10%. No other profession rated this year experienced much change in its score, including lawyers, journalists and bankers in the bottom half; and clergy and judges (43%) in the top.
