MADISON, Miss. - The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma has awarded Vertex Aerospace of Madison a $65,603,271 firm-fixed-price modified contract to perform Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) for the Air Education and Training Command's fleet of T-1A trainer aircraft. Vertex will provide logistics support to over 170 T-1A aircraft at five domestic Air Force bases.
