North Wind Construction Services, Knoxville, Tenn., was awarded an $8,692,015 firm-fixed-price contract for a storm damage risk reduction system. Bids were solicited via the internet with 19 received. Work will be performed in Norco, La., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2023. Fiscal 2021 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $8,692,015 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of New Orleans is the contracting activity.
