Coastal Contractors Inc., Baton Rouge, La., was awarded a $9,450,839 firm-fixed-price contract for flood control of the Comite River. Bids were solicited via the internet with eight received. Work will be performed in Baton Rouge with an estimated completion date of April 8, 2022. Fiscal 2021 civil construction funds in the amount of $9,450,839 were obligated at the time of the award.
