University of Mississippi researchers Jason Paris and Eden Tanner are using an innovative approach to develop a treatment for neuro-HIV, neurological complications of HIV, that can cause cognitive impairment, major depression and chronic pain. The team has gotten a 5-year grant from the National Institutes of Health to support the work.
