STARKVILLE, Miss. - Former Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach coached the Bulldogs for three seasons before his death last December. He will be honored during Sept. 2's season opener against Southeastern Louisiana, the school announced Aug. 28. Leach coached MSU to three bowl games during his tenure and seven wins over AP Top 25 opponents, the third-most ranked wins by a coach in program history. The father of the Air Raid offense, Leach went 19-17 during his tenure at MSU.
