WASHINGTON — NASA’s Artemis 1 mission and a Japanese lander are set to launch to the moon from Cape Canaveral, Fla., within days of each other in November. NASA has scheduled the launch of the Artemis 1 mission for Nov. 14. The launch would take place during a 69-minute window that opens at 11:07 p.m. CDT. Backup launch windows are Nov. 16 and Nov. 19. The new Artemis 1 launch date means will launch within days of a commercial lunar lander mission.
