At an Oct. 19 change of command ceremony at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss., Lt Col. Thomas Collins assumed command of the 43rd Flying Training Squadron from Lt. Col Anthony McKee.
The ceremony, for which origins date to the Revolutionary War, included a traditional passing of the squadron’s guidon to Lt. Col Collins by Col. Kyle Goldstein, the commander of the 340th Flying Training Group at Randolph AFB. (CAFB 10/19/23)
