The Hancock Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual State of the County meeting on July 20. Port & Harbor Commission presented new manufacturer Point Eight Power to the community along with announcing a new airport tenant, Skydweller, a US-Spanish aero company. Executive Director Blaine LaFontaine recapped highlights of the past year and shared upcoming goals and priorities for the Port & Harbor Commission. (HCPHC 07/20/23)

Point Eight Power job fair July 31
To get the new site up and running, Point Eight Power will conduct a job fair to fill new jobs in Hancock County. The job fair will be held be July 31 at the Pearl River Community College's Waveland campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The PRCC Waveland Campus is located at 454 US-90 Suite B, this is the shopping center next to WalMart. All open positions can be found here at https://jobs.silkroad.com/ReaganPower/PointEightPowerCareers
