U.S. Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans held a change of command ceremony June 13 at the Coast Guard hangar on NAS JRB New Orleans. Cmdr. Armell Balmaceda relieved Cmdr. W. Keith Blair as commanding officer during the ceremony. Following the change of command ceremony, USCG Air Station New Orleans honored Cmdr. Blair’s 22 years of service in the United States Coast Guard with a retirement ceremony. (NAS JRB New Orleans 06/16/23)
Navy Air Logistics Office (NALO) New Orleans held a change of command ceremony at the The National WWII Museum on June 15. Capt. Damon Hildebrand relieved Capt. Kanan Ott as commanding officer. Following the ceremony, NALO held a retirement ceremony for Capt. Ott, honoring his 27 years of service in the Navy. (06/15/23)
