Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced that the president has made the following nomination:
* Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Leonard F. Anderson IV for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commander, Marine Forces Reserve; and commander, Marine Forces South, New Orleans, La. Anderson is currently serving as commanding general, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, New Orleans. (DoD 04/24/23)
