NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard medevaced a crewmember from the motor vessel Solitaire on April 23 about 15 miles south of Port Fourchon, La. The CG received a report at 10 p.m. from the motor vessel that a 32-year-old male crewman was experiencing severe abdominal pain. The CG launched a New Orleans-based MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew to the scene after midnight an hoisted the crewman onboard and transferring him to University Medical Center in New Orleans. He was last reported in stable condition. (Coast Guard 04/23/23)
