MERIDIAN, Miss. - The MSU Riley Center announced its 2023 spring/summer performing arts series of musical, theater and comedy acts. The Aquila Theatre will present Jane Austen’s 'Pride & Prejudice' on Feb. 9, featuring African American actors in the lead roles. On March 9, country music troubadour Tanya Tucker performs. March 18: The Kingdom Choir, international gospel choir made famous at Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding. Mississippi comedian/actress Tig Notaro on April 13. The Beach Boys: May 16; Lee Greenwood: June 23. Closing out the season, the King of Motown, Smokey Robinson, will perform on July 27. Season packages are $285 to $575 pending seat location.
