Gulfport, Miss.-based Naval Construction Battalion Center Seabees from NMCB-11 have been volunteering to help restore the Residency Center at the Temple Baptist Church in Biloxi. NMCB-11 has engaged in various volunteer projects throughout this homeport cycle, and this project carries much meaning for the Seabees. Not only are the volunteers getting in-rate experience, which will help their own professional performance, they are also helping build up the community they inhabit, sharing a space and collaborating within the Gulf Coast. It's going to take a few more weeks to complete the entire project, but the volunteers from the Lucky-Eleven will see it through.
