NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard medevaced an oil platform worker July 20 about 20 miles SE of Southwest Pass, Louisiana. Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received notification at 11:38 p.m. in the evening of July 19 from the oil platform West Delta Block 73 AD of a 49-year-old male experiencing severe abdominal pain. The CG launched of a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew and hoisted the individual and transferring him to University Medical Center in New Orleans.
