Alabama DoL's Alabamaworks.alabama.gov, the state’s online jobs database, is currently suffering an outage. In Louisiana, WAFB in Baton Rouge reports that the state’s “HiRE” website, which allows residents to file unemployment claims, has been taken down, along with its labor exchange site, affecting nearly 11,000 people filing unemployment claims. The attack is affecting as many as 40 other states, including Tennessee, Iowa and Nebraska, and Washington D.C., which use GSI.
