MERIDIAN, Miss. - Winter begins at 9:59 a.m. (CT) on Dec. 21, and it’ll feel like it. Cloudy with periodic drizzle throughout the Golden Triangle (GT) region. North winds will keep temps very cool with highs hovering around 50. Clouds clear out by evening and will lead to a low near freezing on Wednesday morning. Sunshine will allow temps to warm to low 60s by afternoon. Then, it'll be warm road to Christmas Day. Highs Thursday in mid-60s. Christmas Eve, mid-70s. Christmas Day mid-to-upper 70s.
