3rd Miss. restoration draft

The Mississippi Trustee Implementation Group released its third draft restoration plan for public review and comment for 50 days through Jan. 26, 2022. The draft restoration plan includes about $19M for projects proposed for implementation to partially address the injuries caused by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Proposed restoration activities include debris removal on federally managed lands, maintaining enhanced stranding network capacity for sea turtles and marine mammals, marine mammal bycatch reduction, bird stewardship, and recreational access and educational opportunities. See the draft plan and translated information, and learn more about the seven proposed projects >> Public comments Online: parkplanning.nps.gov/MSTIGRPII By mail to: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. P.O.
