During the challenges of COVID-19 and staff shortages, Naval Construction Battalion Center's (NCBC) Navy Lodge won the coveted Edward E. Carlson Award. The Navy Lodge won in the grand award category, competing with Navy Lodges world-wide. The award is for the "best rated with the highest marks in guest and associate satisfaction, operations, quality assessment and financial performance,” said Annette Cephas, NCBC Navy Lodge general manager.
