HII's Miss. & La. units suspend ops

For safety, due to the likelihood of heavy rain and higher than normal tides, and in advance of two likely hurricanes coming ashore along the Gulf Coast, Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is suspending all operations in Mississippi for all shifts on Monday, Aug. 24. Only employees specifically instructed to report for work Monday should do so. HII-Pascagoula will provide an update Monday afternoon with regard to additional work schedule changes, if necessary. Additionally, Ingalls’ UNO facility in Louisiana will be closed through Aug. 26.
