Col. Spears take lead at 14th OG

COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. - Colonel Justin Spears took command of the 14th Operations Group (OG) at a change of command ceremony July 24, at Columbus Air Force Base. The 14th OG, and its six squadrons, are responsible for the 52-week Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training mission at CAFB. The group also performs quality assurance for contract aircraft maintenance. "It's an incredible thing we're asked to do here at Columbus," Spears said. "Our mission is clear and the success of our mission depends on solely on the quality of the people assigned to do it and there are none better than the men and women of the 14th Operations Group.
