Hogan, Smitko to lead LWFC

Bill Hogan of Ruston, La., was elected chair of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC). Jerri Smitko of Houma was elected vice-chair during the commission’s Jan. 9 meeting in Baton Rouge. The two commissioners will serve through 2020. Hogan is the CEO of Ruston Bank. Smitko is an attorney and owner of Smitko Law APLC in Houma. She is a graduate of Nicholls State University, and Tulane law school.
