Stronger regional training funds

The NADO Research Foundation and EDA’s "Stronger CEDS, Stronger Regions" training program has recently been awarded additional funding to advance for another two years and will continue to assist regions as they undertake CEDS planning processes that can serve as a practical road map to regional progress and prosperity. As the program enters its next phase, NADO is asking to please help update on your CEDS training needs and goals to help inform our future programming, resources, and training curriculum by Jan. 31. All materials created from "Stronger CEDS, Stronger Regions" are posted free online at www.cedscentral.com. The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is a locally-based, regionally-driven economic development planning process and document that successfully engages a range of partners, including community leaders, Economic Development Districts (EDDs), tribes, private sector, educational institutions, and other stakeholders in planning for your region’s future. CEDS Central serves as the Resource and Training Archive for materials developed by the NADO Research Foundation (NADO RF) as part of its Stronger CEDS, Stronger Region program, funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration. The free materials archived here include reports, case studies, videos, webinars, and presentation materials on planning, developing, and implementing the CEDS. New staff working on the CEDS for the very first time as well as more seasoned veterans of the process should find these resources useful and relevant to their work.
