NEW ORLEANS - First Lady Jill Biden will be visit New Orleans on March 10, according to the White House. Biden will join U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and his wife at the Louisiana Cancer Research Center in New Orleans. The visit will bring attention to the Biden administration's "Cancer Moonshot" initiative. President Joe Biden relaunched the White House's "Cancer Moonshot" initiative, committing the nation to working toward reducing the death rate from cancer by at least 50% over the next 25 years. Biden will arrive in New Orleans at 1:30 p.m. Friday and will visit the research center at 2:15 p.m. (WDSU 03/07/23)
