NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard is scheduled to host a public, open house career day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 11 in Morgan City, La. The event provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about CG missions, explore the services career paths, meet with local CG personnel and learn about the updated requirements/guidelines for joining the CG. The day will also include a tour of multiple CG assets, including two cutters and an opportunity to watch the landing and take-off of a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter. (Coast Guard 03/09/23)
