Ex-NOLA mayor has federal wallet

WASHINGTON - President Biden will sign into law the hard-fought $1T infrastructure bill on Nov. 15, and has tapped former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu to coordinate the implementation of its spending. “We are about to make the largest long-term investment in our infrastructure and competitiveness in nearly a century,” the long-time Democrat said in a statement issued by his E Pluribus Unum non-profit. “We get to fix a lot of roads, bridges, ports, rail lines and airports,” he said.
