In a ceremony Sept. 30, the Navy Lodge at NCBC Gulfport, Miss., was recognized for receiving the 2020 Edward E. Carlson award as the “Best Navy Lodge in the Navy.” Annette Cephas, NCBC Navy Lodge general manager, the annual award is presented to the Navy Lodge that is the best rated with the highest marks in guest and associate satisfaction, operations, quality assessment and financial performance. The NCBC Navy Lodge won in the grand master category, competing with every other Navy Lodge around the globe. The Lodge was also deemed fiscally excellent.
