ABERDEEN, Miss. - Speedy Spruill, a volunteer at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and officer at American Legion Post 26, was named as the Junior Women’s League’s citizen of the year. Spruill is also a veteran who served in the Mississippi National Guard and was deployed overseas several times.
