NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard medevaced a 64-year-old-female passenger Dec. 5 from the cruise ship Norwegian Breakaway on the Mississippi River near Venice, La.The CG got a cvall from the ship about 8:55 p.m. requesting a medevac for a passenger who was reportedly in critical condition and in need of immediate medical care. The CG launched a Station Venice 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew to assist. The boatcrew crew transferred the passenger, reported in critical condition, to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at the CG station. (CG 12/05/22)
