Wicker on bipartisan visit to Poland

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) joined a group lawmakers March 12 for a bipartisan trip to Poland to assess that nation's security concerns caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The group was to meet with senior Polish government officials and visit refugee sites to reaffirm America's commitment to Poland, said a media release from Wicker’s office. Wicker, a member of the Armed Services Committee, was joined on the trip by Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.)Wicker had previously traveled overseas in January to meet with the Ukrainian president. (Source: WLOX 03/12/22) Sen.
