KILN, Miss. - Coast Guard Port Security Unit 308 held a change-of-command ceremony in Kiln, Miss., on Sept. 11. Capt. Gennaro A. Ruocco transferred command of the unit to Cmdr. Paul E. Green. The incoming officer comes to the unit from Sector San Francisco, where he held the position of senior reserve officer. Ruocco served as CO since September 2018, and oversaw a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as commander of Maritime Security Detachment, Joint Task Force Guantanamo, Cuba.
