Know before you go ... to the beach

NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard is urging beach-goers to be aware of rip current conditions after two cases this past weekend along the Gulf Coast. CG Sector Mobile, Ala., diverted a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boat crew to rescue three swimmers caught in a rip current off Dauphin Island.
