Weeks Marine of Covington, La., was awarded an $18,065,000 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of the Morehead City (NC) Harbor federal navigation channel. Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work will be performed in Morehead City with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2021. FY 2018, 2019 and 2020 civil operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $18,065,000 were obligated at the time of the award.
