FY-21 budget asks for 3% pay raise

President Donald J. Trump's request for $705.4B to fund the Defense Department in FY 2021 prioritizes readiness and modernization, the strengthening of alliances, performance and accountability reforms, and service members and their families. The president released his FY-21 budget request Feb. 10. For those in uniform, the department has asked for a 3 percent pay raise across the board, along with increases to the allowances for housing and subsistence.
