Three pillars of wisdom for grads

COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. - Colonel Dean Lee, safety director of the Air Education and Training Command, was guest speaker here April 28 for Class 17-08’s 16 graduates of the Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training. Lee imparted three pillars of wisdom to the new pilots: Become a subject matter expert in your craft, have a warrior mentality, and have fun doing it. “You are now a part of an unbelievable fraternity,” he said, one of 14,812 Air Force pilots. “I can’t wait to see the awesome things you will do in the next 20 to 30 years,” he concluded.
