Miss. parachute firm expanding

COLUMBIA, Miss. – Officials from Columbia Parachute Co., a manufacturer of government parachutes, announced Sept. 30 it is expanding operations and relocating within Columbia. The firm, located in the Pioneer Aerospace facility, will relocate to an 11,000-square-foot space in the Marion County BusinessPlex, the former Columbia Training School campus.
