Fed RAISE funds to 3 MS projects

JACKSON, Miss. - U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg announced Aug. 11 that the White House has awarded $15.5M from the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) program to support three projects in Mississippi. The trio includes the Yazoo City Main Street Revitalization Project; Tupelo RAIL Improvements Program (TRIP) Planning; and Ripley's Tanglefoot Trail ExtensionRAISE is one of several ways communities can secure funding for projects under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s competitive grant programs.
